Bo-Mac's Drive Inn

Portions were large. Our table had shakes, big boy burgers, fries and mushrooms. All of the food was yummy. The big boy was too large to eat. Service was friendly although they were a bit busy. Outdoor dining and from your vehicle was available.

This is a great one of a kind restaurant just inside Shoals Indiana. Great burgers, french fries, breaded vegetables and much much more!

Very seldom give a place 5 stars on the first visit. Outdoor seating. Really wish I could come here often, there is so much to choose from. We got the double hamburger. Decorate it any way you want. Ours was lettuce and tomato. These are not the boxed patties that come pre made. These are hand made. Not many places do this any more. The patties when cooked are about 5/8 to 3/4 inches thick. Nice and juicy. These were the best hamburgers I have had in over a year. Actually I can't remember a better one in over 10 years. The lady hat took our order was helpful and nice. Every-time I come this way I will definitely give them a visit. If you get within 50 miles, take a detour, it's worth it. One more thing. The price was less than the other places. You get more better and friendly service.

Great food and people. An old drive up with to your car service or get out and sit with friends in the picnic tables. Don't drive through Shoals without stopping. It's a must.

This is a really nice little hometown diner. They have several picnic tables that you can sit at to enjoy your meal or you can just sit in your car and the carhops come out and take your order. You can eat there or take it to go. It sounds crazy to say but I think we have been here the last 5 Sunday's to either eat or just get ice cream. My son is a huge fan and we had to buy a T-shirt for him at one of our visits. Today when we went the owner came out and asked if we were the family of the boy who loves Bo Macs and she had brought him a hat! She also took him inside to see where all the food is made and he got to make his own strawberry sundae! She seriously made his day! He has been on cloud 9 since we got home and will not take his hat off! This is one of the things I love most about small towns. We have amazing experiences every time we go. Now on to the food... they get their hamburger locally for their burgers and they are amazing. They also have cheese fries, fried mushrooms, really anything fried that you could want. Their ice cream is delicious also. They have several flavors of shakes and I will say the blueberry shake is hands down my favorite! It is loaded with blueberries! If you are looking for a nice place to go for a meal look no further! Bo Mac's is the place to be!
